Solar Equity Initiative

A collaborative effort between Vote Solar and the NAACP, the Solar Equity Initiative is a new program dedicated to the increased accessibility of solar technology (and its benefits) to marginalized communities – especially urban populations of minorities.

Deliverables for this commission included the logo mark itself, website concepts, campaigning concepts, and more. The most important aspect of this project's solutions was the incorporation of relevant and powerful symbolism in the marks and assets. The client requested quickly identifiable symbolism with clear, ethically positive connotations in the final mark – much like the NAACP logo.
