Knock-Out Wings

On the modest but historical Jefferson street in Nashville, TN lies the essential community wing stop Knock-Out Wings (now closed). Feeding hungry locals, college kids, church-goers, workers, and more for decades, KO Wings' visual identity system never quite lived up to the flavors it served out with a smile.

As a KO Wings fanatic who was sad to see it go, I took it upon myself to reimagine its identity system in a way that pays respects to its Nashville roots, professional boxing theming, and old-school, mom-and-pop community presence.
